ATMOS CLOCKS
JAEGER LECOULTRE ATMOS CLOCKS - Invented in 1928 by Jean-Léon Reutter, and then perfected and manufactured by Jaeger-LeCoultre, the Atmos clock comes close to fulfilling the ancient dream of perpetual motion. The Atmos extracts its energy from the slightest variations in temperature.Within a sealed capsule, a mixture of gases expand and contract with each temperature change. Thus, the mechanism winds naturally, without any human intervention.
