A fine English black chinoiserie Georgian style mantel clock with profusely decorated case with embossed scenes of pagodas, people and garden scenes, with brass carry handle and brass ogee feet.
The brass Face with silver chapter ring with Roman numerals and brass angel spandrels.
The two train French movement stamped 'Made in France' with serial number 6059 striking the hours and half hours on a gong.
A fine example of this popular style of clock.
