English 19th Century Black Chinoiserie Fusee Bracket Clock

An attractive black Chinoiserie bracket clock, the case profusely decorated in relief with garden scenes, figures, pagodas and floral motifs, the top with brass handle, on brass ogee feet.

 

The white painted dial with roman numerals, inscribes 'Thomas J. Nye, Chatham'

Fitted with a brass single fusee movement.

The clock comes complete with its original key and pendulum

 

The movement has been fully serviced and keeps excellent time.
