20th Century Elliott of London Black Chinoiserie Miniature Longcase Clock

A rare pagoda topped black Chinoiserie miniature longcase clock by Elliott of London, the ebonised case with a pagoda top surmounted by a gilt spire, decorated with scenes including Chinese maiden, pagoda and garden/floral scenes, on stepped base.

 

The silvered dial with brass chapter ring with Roman numerals, the face marked 'Elliott London', circa 1970.

The movement is the standard Elliott black cased movement market with an 'E' and 'Made in England'.

This clock is in excellent condition with only minor wear commensurate with age.
