20th Century Green Chinoiserie Georgian Style Mantel Clock

An attractive green Chinoiserie Georgian Style mantel clock, C 1920, the case profusely decorated in relief with garden scenes, figures, pagodas and floral motifs, the top with brass handle, on brass bun feet.

 

The brass face with engraved central motif and silver spandrels, the silver chapter ring with roman numerals and marked with minutes.

Fitted with a brass Astral of Coventry English two train movement sounding the hours on a gong.

The clock comes complete with its original key.

 

The movement has been fully serviced and keeps excellent time. The case with only minor marks commensurate with age as visible in the images.
