Danish Stoneware Falcon Designed By Knud Kyhn, Circa 1957

Knud Kyhn (1880 - 1969) Stoneware Falcon designed for Royal Copenhagen in 1957.

Glazed in soft hues of brown with cream/silver striations.

​

Marked to base with artists initials, KK, Model Number 21407 and with the Royal Copenhagen factory stamp.

​

This rare item is an unusual example with a unique attractive glaze colour. 

 

In excellent as new condition.

Knud Kyhn worked for Royal Copenhagen from 1903-1910, 1924-1932 and 1936-1967. During this period he designed many animal figures.
